# DAO Governance & Token Logic

Lacuna is moving toward community governance through a DAO and a native token.

## Governance

The `Governance` contract is the on-chain control point for protocol parameters. Over time, decisions fee rates, treasury use, upgrades move to token-holder governance.

## Token Utility (Planned)

The token is intended to coordinate the network: governance voting, incentives for relayers and liquidity, and ecosystem rewards.

> Token details including ticker, supply, and distribution are being finalized and will be published before launch. Nothing here is an offer or a guarantee of value.
