# Private Bridging

Move assets across chains while keeping the link between source and destination private.

## The Problem With Normal Bridges

A standard bridge creates a clear public trail: this address on chain A funded that address on chain B. Anyone watching can connect them.

## Lacuna's Approach

Bridging through the shielded pool breaks that link, so moving funds between supported chains doesn't expose a one-to-one public mapping between your addresses.
